An old British era building located in the middle of 360 Acres of TATA Coffee Plantations, has 04 big enough bed rooms, with a common dining hall, sit-out place and lot of open place. Approaching road from Main Gate about 2 Kms, is very narrow and careful driving is must. Once you reach the Estate, you are in heaven. When we visited it was drizzling, with cloudy weather, fog/snow around and wonderful experience. You can all types of birds and their Chirping sound, wonderful experience. The estate person (Mr. Kumar) take us for walk-through of plantations for about 1 hour, very good experience. But you must be very careful with Leech, at no time it will stuck to your legs and start sucking the blood. Coming to staff and food served there is EXTRAORDINARY. Limited staff, very polite and taking care of their guests like own family. Whether Veg or Non-Veg, whatever we order (except Fish) in advance, they serve us. I would specially thank Mr. Madhu (Chef) and Mr. Natesan (an old man) who are taking care of all the Guests without any rest. Guests can visit Mullayanagiri, a peak point of Karnataka very comfortably before check-in to this Estate, because frequent travel from this place is not advisable. For 02 days of peaceful stay, the best place to stay with all meals options (variety of dishes). Heritage Room is spacious compared to other category. Will visit again and recommend others. Our first trip after several months and we couldn't have asked for better service. Mr Kumar the property manager, Chef Madhu and Mr. Natesh the staff there do not have the words No in their dictionary. They went over and above what we asked. The food was homestyle cooking and absolutely delicious. Go for the local or simple cuisine and you will not be disappointed. If we required any tweaks, Chef Madhu would immediately do the needful. In terms of the property it is super pet friendly, we had 2 pups with us and they had the most fun. The property needs a little bit of upkeep, there are a few leaks and power trips were a slight issue but they are working on that. I would also request that they put larger geezers or get the solar panel running because 3 of the bathrooms have lovely tubs but the geezers are too small to fill them with hot water. But all these are small glitches. the service surpassed any 5 star property and O would strongly recommend a trip there.

We stayed 2 nights in a Heritage room and had a wonderful time. The small number of staff were very attentive and the food was simply delicious (congratulations and thanks to Madhu). We went for a splendid short walk around the plantation and also got to meet up with the ladies harvesting. There were two Indian families staying at the same time who were just delightful company. Our stay was so enjoyable that it is a shame that we have to mention the slightly dilapidated state of the building and its fittings. The bungalow needs some TLC – a few Rupees spent on refurbishment would make this a really super place to spend a few days.

From the beautiful & spacious bungalow, ethnic yet with all modern amenities, to the very warm staff, we had a wonderful experience. To add to the experience is the very courteous chef Madhu, who prepared whatever we asked for. We had the yummy home cooked food experience...there's nothing he can't cook! The experience was better than any hotel we've stayed in. If you love nature & homely feel, while staying at a place with hotel like amenities...this place is a must, especially like a long weekend getaway!
